My dog is my life and apart from my mum I would never let anyone else take care of him. However after visiting Angie and Simon at Tall Pines and leaving my baby there for 4 days over Christmas, he has found his second home!! Max has just returned from his second stay - this time for 8 days!! He bounded in and gave Angie lots of kisses when we arrived and was happy healthy and better trained when I collected him. If you have never left your dog in kennels before and are worried - don't be Tall Pines is absolutely perfect and your dog will want to go back again and again! The staff give a million percent and show dedication that you can only imagine. The doggie quarters are clean comfortable and extremely well maintained and the exercise facilities are wonderful. It truly is My dogs home from home!!

The following changes and charges will take affect as of 1st October 2011

Due to the increase in demand for our kennels we will be needing to charge a non refundable £30.00 deposit per pet which will need to be taken for all bookings. Any deposit not taken within 2 weeks of the original booking date will be cancelled by the system unless we have been notified.

PLEASE NOTE - As of 1st OCTOBER 2011 our charges for the boarding of Dogs will rise by £1.00 per dog per day. We trust that you will find these prices remain competitive and can assure you that every effort has been made to keep the increases to a minimum, especially given the current financial climate.

Please note - we are in the process of obtaining a new card payment machine which we are hoping will be in use by the end of August if not before. Therefore payment can be made at checkin via cash, cheque or card, and deposits can also be taken over the phone.

Tall pines Pets Retreat is a small friendly, family run, pet retreat. Our management and staff are themselves pet owners and all our guests are given the same care we would expect for our own, even our shyest guests will settle in quickly.

While you are on holiday, or just need a break, we at Tall pines are committed to providing nurturing and loving care to your pets and in a loving, rural and picturesque setting.

All our guests will enjoy a safe, clean and stress free stay, as Tall pines will ensure that the highest standards of comfort, security and hygiene are maintained.

When you book in your pets, they are guaranteed to receive the highest level of service and the most comfortable of accommodation.

All reasonable precautions are taken to prevent and control the spread among our guests of infectious or contagious diseases.

Tall pines are open 6 days a week, Monday to Saturday, All year round

We are closed for checkins and checkouts on Christmas Day, New Years Day and all other Bank Holidays.
We are available at Short Notice, in the event of an emergency or unexpected event. (we always put aside at least 2 kennels for the unexpected)

Please note:
Due to the high demand that we have for our kennels, we advise that you book early especially for Christmas, New Year, all Bank Holidays, Summer, Easter and all other School holidays to avoid disappointment.
