  • Our guests will always be supplied with the best food, drink and bedding material, exercised, and receive individual play time.
  • All reasonable precautions will be taken to prevent and control the spread among our guests of infectious or contagious diseases.
  • The provision of isolation facilities and 24 hour veterinary care in the event that our guests become ill.
  • All appropriate steps have and will be taken for the protection of our guests in case of fire or any other emergency.
  • A register will be kept containing a description of your pet received into the cattery, the date of arrival and departure, and the name and address of yourselves.

  • We feel that a happy cat is one that has as much human contact as possible, whether it be just sitting, playing or talking to them
  • For those guests that feel stressed or are shy, we will sit in with them (after you have left) and allow them to approach us in their own time, we have found that this helps with the bonding process.
  • At bed time each cat is given a treat.

All cats must have an up to date vaccination certificate for feline influenza and feline enteritis. This must be produced each time your pet stays in the cattery. At Tallpines we also recommend that you vaccinate against feline leukaemia.
(NO CAT WILL BE BOARDED UNLESS A CURRENT CERTIFICATE OF VACCINATION IS SEEN ON ARRIVAL).
Please remember that these need to be boosted annually
  • A brief medical history will be taken at time of registration to help us during the daily monitoring of your cat’s health
  • All cats will be examined on arrival and the proprietor / cattery representative reserves the right to refuse admission to any cat showing signs of ill health pending advice from a veterinary surgeon.
  • Feeding individual likes and dislikes are all taken into account based on information given by the owners on arrival. (We do ask those on prescription diets to bring their own.)
We like our guests to feel as at home as possible here at Tallpines so if they wish to pack their own scratching posts, favourite toy or blanket or even there own grooming tools, they are most welcome!
