The chip is about the size of a grain of rice made from a biocompatible glass so there is no chance of infection, your pet will feel no discomfort.

Once implanted it cannot be removed, unlike human identification methods, it can not be lost, altered, or become worn.

As the Pet Passport Scheme becomes more common, all dogs and cats entering and, or leaving the UK must be micro chipped.

We will record and store your pet's unique 10-character identification code in our offices and on our and other web pages, as well as sending the information to Petlog. You therefore have more that 1chance of your pet finding his /her way back home.
